Hey, y’all. I’m Tessa. I’m a small-town Tennessee photographer, blogger, and lover of all things Jesus.
“Above all, fear the LORD and worship Him faithfully with all your heart; consider the great things He has done for you.” 1 Samuel 12:24
Most days you can find me chasing around my 3 year old, Jack, or in the kitchen cooking up a batch of my famous lasagna. I am mostly known for my love of ramen noodles and Disney movies. I serve this world with a Nikon in hand, capturing this life around me.
When I’m not busy editing photos or potty training my stubborn child, you can catch me cuddling up with my four sweet nieces or watching Grey’s Anatomy with my big sister. Family is everything to me. I’d be lost without them…
At the age of 14 my father took his own life. Since then I’ve been through a whirlwind of ups and downs. I’ve lost, I’ve loved, I’ve been to hell and back. I gave life to a beautiful baby boy. I got married then divorced. I’ve made mistakes and cleaned up after myself. I’m still cleaning up after myself. But that’s all we can do. No matter where we are in life, everyone is going to mess up every once in a while. Everyday, even. It happens. Life happens. But we keep moving forward, we keep cleaning up. We pick ourselves up off the ground and shake off the dirt.
We keep living.
